A former mixed martial artist is Khabib Nurmagomedov. He was the youngest Russian wrestler in UFC history and the first Muslim and Russian to win a UFC title. Before retiring in March 2021, he was the Lightweight UFC champion and had the longest winning run in MMA history with 29 victories.
He picked the moniker “the eagle” to honor his ethnic heritage from the Russian country of Dagestan. He has gained a lot of sympathy from young Muslims in Dagestan, Chechnya, and other former Soviet nations where Muslims predominate.

As Ramadan concluded, UFC Hall of Famer Khabib celebrated Eid-al-Fitr.
After a month of fasting and prayer, Nurmagomedov used his Instagram account to wish his 36.8 million followers and admirers a happy and auspicious occasion. He posted a photo of himself and two small boys, captioning the post, “Eid Mubarak.”
“The Eagle” Being a devoted Muslim, religion plays a significant role in Khabib’s life. Khabib used every battle to thank God for his victory. Ramadan, the Muslim holy month of fasting, had an additional effect on Khabib’s career and fighting schedule because he had to organize his training camps around it.

There would be no other way for Khabib Nurmagomedov. Because he feels that Islam has improved him as a person, he doesn’t mind if some of his fans have adverse reactions to his views.
Khabib isn’t interested in converting anyone else to Islam, even if he is more than happy to talk about his faith when asked, as well as about himself or those close to him.
