UFC Edmonton is gearing up for an electrifying night of fights on November 2nd, but not without some last-minute shuffling. The fight card has undergone a major shake-up, with Brandon Moreno vs. Amir Albazi now the face of the main event.
The original main event assigned for the event was a fight between former champion Rose Namajunas and Erin Blachfeild. It has now been moved down to the co-main event of the card.
The fight between Albazi and Moreno was actually supposed to happen earlier this year. Fate, however, had other plans. Albazi got injured, and Moreno ended up facing Brandon Royval instead. There were rumors that Moreno would fight on the UFC 306 card, but now those are cleared up.
Brandon Moreno is coming off a bit of a rough patch with two straight losses. He took a little break from the cage to clear his head. Now he’s back, hungry and ready to climb that mountain again. On the flip side, we’ve got Albazi. This guy has been on a tear with six wins in a row.
