Joe Rogan Shuts Down $30M Jon Jones Fight Rumor
Fans were eager for a Jon Jones vs. Tom Aspinall showdown, but Joe Rogan just dropped a major update. Following Jones’ win over Stipe Miocic at UFC 309, Rogan defended him, calling him the GOAT and insisting he doesn’t need to follow the usual rules. He suggested Jones take 6-8 months off, even up to a year, without pressure, and return whenever he’s ready for a title fight.
“Give the man all the time he wants. He could fight whenever he wants to fight. That’s Jon Jones—he’s the GOAT. So leave him alone. If he decides one day to come back and wants to fight Tom Aspinall for the heavyweight title, let him do it.” Rogan said.
Rogan shut down rumors of a Jones vs. Tom Aspinall superfight, calling it unlikely. However, with no official word from Jones, fans are still waiting for his confirmation.
