The term “naturally gifted” is often used to describe people who can effortlessly do things that others find challenging. Sean O’Malley seems to be one of those rare talents, as fans recently witnessed the UFC champ showing off his football skills alongside NFL superstars. His moves on the field were so smooth and impressive that some fans even joked he might be in the wrong sport despite already being a dominant force in the UFC.
O’Malley will defend his bantamweight title against Merab Dvalishvili in just two weeks. However, it looks like Suga took a break from his training camp to visit the Arizona Cardinals ahead of UFC Noche. O’Malley didn’t just stop by to meet the NFL stars—he jumped into team drills, had a chat with them, and even played with the stars.
A recent video from O’Malley’s visit to the Arizona Cardinals went viral. In the clip, ‘Suga’ skillfully fakes out linebacker Dennis Gardeck and easily catches the ball. Fans were amazed by his quick moves and smooth catch, flooding the comments with their reactions.

Sean O’Malley Doesn’t See Wrestling a Threat against Merab Dvalishvili
Although O’Malley took time off from camp, he’s still fully focused on his second title defense set to take place on September 14. Many see it as a great test, as Dvalishvili will likely challenge O’Malley’s wrestling and try to bring the fight to the ground. However, O’Malley doesn’t seem worried about it.
In his ESPN interview, he said, “I don’t think he’s going to test my wrestling. I don’t think he’s going to be able to, like Aljo. I guess you could say he tested my wrestling a little bit, had me up against the fence twice. And didn’t take me down once.”
Dvalishvili is known for his relentless wrestling and has even upset Olympic gold medalist Henry Cejudo, making him a tough opponent. However, the champ believes he’ll face minimal challenge and finish the fight quickly, just like he did against Aljamain Sterling. Indeed, it will be interesting to see if O’Malley has accurately assessed his opponent or if Dvalishvili will prove him wrong with heavy wrestling.
