The UFC has put up some massive events this calendar year. The MMA fans have thoroughly enjoyed the past few months. But as it turns out, the greatest MMA fighter has yet to return to the cage. UFC President Dana White recently confirmed that Heavyweight champion Jon Jones is all set to return to the cage this calendar year.
Jon Jones returned to the Octagon last year after a four-year hiatus. He never left, finishing Cyril Gane in the first round and becoming the world’s Heavyweight champion.

UFC President Dana White saved the UFC Saudi Arabia and the UFC 303 card after the main event participants bowed out of their respective fights. Recently, White gave a positive update about Heavyweight champion Jon Jones, who is all set to defend his title in the cage against Stipe Micocic.
When Dana was quizzed on when we can see Jon Bones Jones back in the octagon, he replied,
either this summer or in the fall
The 54-year-old clarified that we can witness Jon live in the cage against Miocic this year in the next few months. Jon is all set to defend his title for the first time in the octagon against all-time great and former champion Stipe Miocic.

Jones has won every title fight in the UFC and holds a record of fifteen title fight wins in the promotion. He is one of the very few and part of the elite group who have won titles in two different divisions in the UFC.
The vast majority consider Jon Jones the greatest and currently sits at the second position on the pound-for-pound list. It will be interesting to see what happens when Jones and Miocic finally meet in the cage. Only time will tell what will happen in the near future.
