Justin Gaethje has had something to say about the UFC and Dana White following Chris Weidman’s victory over Bruno Silva at UFC Atlantic City.
UFC veteran returned to action last night at UFC Atlantic City against Bruno Silva. Despite going into the fight as an underdog, Weidman was able to get the better of his opponent and secure a unanimous decision victory.
However, Chris Weidman’s victory over Bruno Silva was overshadowed by a moment of controversy. During the fight, Weidman accidentally eye-poked Silva which became the topic of discussion online.
Speaking about the same on X, Justin Gaethje spoke about how UFC should consider changing their gloves and said: “Too bad UFC don’t want to change those sh*t gloves”
It is worth noting that the UFC has been criticised about their gloves for quite some time. And Justin Gaethje is not the first person to have raised concerns about the UFC gloves leaving fingers exposed.

When is Justin Gaethje fighting next?
Gaethje was previously seen inside the octagon last year against Dustin Poirier. The bout was for the vacant BMF title and Gaethje secured an emphatic knockout victory.
Now, Justin Gaethje is set to enter the octagon at UFC 300 against former UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway. The bout will see Gaethje put his BMF title on the line.
Going into the fight, a lot has been said about how moving up in weight and fighting Gaethje will prove to be dangerous for Holloway. However, Holloway should not be considered a pushover by any means.
That said, it’s safe to say that the fans are in for a treat in just about two week’s time. It remains to be seen if Gaethje defends his BMF title or if Holloway can upset the odds to emerge victorious.
