Amanda Ribas was like a lot of female UFC fighters who wanted to make some quick money she decided to join OnlyFans. The subscription-based social media platform emerged during the height of the pandemic and was an easy way for people to make money solely by posting adult content, although the site wasn’t created strictly for that reason.
Several other current and former UFC fighters like Meisha Tate, Jessica Andrade, Jessica Penne, Ariane Lipski, Kay Hansen, Rachel Ostovich, Felice Herrig, and Hannah Goldy have also joined since 2020.
When these girls joined up, it was expected that they would be showing skin, which is something that was out of Ribas’ comfort zone. The Brazilian was unwilling to pose for “sexy photos” in front of exclusive fans.
“For me, it’s not my vibe to do some sexy photos,” she said of her OnlyFans experience. “That’s for me, I don’t judge, but for me I’d be embarrassed, that’s my personality.”
In an earlier interview with Sherdog, she explained what happened further, adding: “For me was a little hard because for me I didn’t put what the the fans was expecting. So for me was not too good. But okay, those who like to do it, I don’t have nothing [to say], but for me was a little hard. So I don’t like it.

“It’s crazy for me because I don’t do a lot of posts in English or everything [on Instagram]. And I think this is the difference because sometimes I just do like, Oh, my dogs are here and they are screaming so I do the video so is the things that people enjoy, and this is good because I don’t need to force something. I just do what I do.”
In the meantime, Ribas recent fight with Tracy Cortez was called off. Shortly after the official weigh-ins for the, the UFC announced that Cortez has been forced out of the preliminary flyweight bout due to a medical issue.
This was to be Cortez’s second fight of 2022.
Ribas was coming off of a split decision loss to Katlyn Chookagian this past May. The Brazilian fighter has lost two of her past three fights following a 4-0 start to her UFC career, competing in the flyweight and strawweight divisions.
