UFC 311 is set to kick off 2025 as the year’s first PPV event, with a highly anticipated fight card generating plenty of excitement. However, fans are concerned about a possible change in plans as Los Angeles faces a wildfire crisis. As of now, UFC 311 is still set for January 18 at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, but fans are worried about its status due to ongoing wildfires. While the UFC hasn’t confirmed a venue change, reports suggest the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas could host the event if needed. The situation remains under close watch.
Due to the ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles, the UFC is considering relocating the card if necessary, although the plan for now remains to host the event at the Intuit Dome. If a move is required, Las Vegas has emerged as the top alternative, with the T-Mobile Arena available on January 18. There have also been suggestions to delay the event entirely, but one fan reacted to the news by saying, “No way.”

Ariel Helwani Claims LA Wildfires Won’t Impact Dana White’s Plans Of UFC 311
Helwani reports that California’s ongoing wildfires may force the UFC to move UFC 311, scheduled for January 18 in Inglewood, to the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. He tweeted that the UFC is closely monitoring the situation and plans to relocate the event if necessary, without delaying the card. On X, Helwani wrote:
“As of right now, 311 is staying at Intuit. The hope is it remains there. But they are monitoring and ready to move the card if need be. No talks of delaying the card. Obviously, that call needs to happen soon. The event is eight days away. Vegas would be the frontrunner. Worth noting: T-Mobile Arena is not booked next Saturday, Jan. 18.”
UFC has had talks about the status of UFC 311 next weekend, I’m told.

UFC 311 is currently slated for the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, Calif. Obviously, that region is facing a devastating wildfire crisis at the moment.

Changing the venue could impact UFC 311’s gate. As some ticket holders may be unwilling to travel such a long distance. However, it’s still unclear whether the UFC will move the event. With a stacked fight card, fans have already set high expectations for the event.
