Jon Jones and Israel Adesanya were 2-time champions in the Light Heavyweight and Middleweight divisions, respectively. Matt Hughes and Georges St-Pierre also became 2-time UFC Welterweight champions.
Jose Aldo held the UFC Featherweight title on two separate occasions, originally being the WEC champion before the promotion’s merger with the UFC. Dominick Cruz also won the UFC Bantamweight title twice. He had previously held the title in the WEC before it was absorbed into the UFC.
The rematch between UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira and former champion Jiri Prochazka will surely be a spectacle for the fight fans. Pereira will try to defend his title, whereas Prochazka will look to avenge his loss.
