Former UFC champion Daniel Cormier has made a bold claim about Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler. The two are set to finally lock horns this summer at UFC 303 on June 29.
Ahead of the fight, Daniel Cormier suggested that Michael Chandler should be snubbed for the pay-per-view points for his clash against McGregor. For those unaware, the headliners of a pay-per-view event are given their percentage.
In this case, Cormier has suggested otherwise. He said:
“I don’t get why you’re gonna give pay-per-view points to someone that is not going to drive the sales.”

Conor McGregor hasn’t had the best in the last couple of years. He has won just one of his previous three fights since 2020 and was last seen in 2021. On the night, he suffered a nasty leg injury, which kept him out of action. However, McGregor recovered fully and was billed to make his return last year. However, he failed to enter the USADA testing pool on time and was later caught up with promotional activities for his recently released movie.
As a result, Conor McGregor’s return kept getting pushed, but Dana White recently confirmed his return at the post-fight press conference of UFC 300. Ahead of the fight, McGregor recently revealed that he had already been drug tested. He said:
“Ten rounds in the 18oz. Drug tested. Hair cut.”
