Conor McGregor is a two-division champion in the UFC and the biggest superstar in Mixed martial arts.
Conor McGregor’s head coach on Michael Chandler fight at UFC 303
Conor McGregor is set to take on the explosive Michael Chandler at UFC 303, who is known for his explosive power in the UFC. Chandler knocked out Dan Hooker in his debut fight in the company in the first round itself. Chandler now has the biggest money fight in the company after waiting for Conor McGregor for more than eighteen months. John Kavanagh is Conor’s famed coach and the best coach out of Ireland. John Kavanagh said,
I see similarities to the Mendes fight. I’d be surprised if it can go two rounds. I’d be surprised.
Chad Mendes was one of Conor’s main rivals many years ago in the octagon. He and Mendes talked trash in the lead-up to the fight. Fight day, McGregor shut the lights off Chad relatively quickly in the second round and won via KO/TKO. Mendes was known for having knockout power, but Conor could quickly neutralize him with his precision. John Kavanagh is convinced that the fight against Michael Chanler will go the same way come UFC 303.
Conor McGregor broke his leg the last time he stepped inside the octagon. McGregor will be hoping to end the fight without any significant injury. Conor will be willing to exchange with Chandler in the first round and get the former Bellator champion out of there in the first round of the main event in UFC 303. Chandler and Conor are high in the lightweight rankings, and the winner might be close to the title contention.
