Steve is succeeding in the striking department, clipping the champion with decent shots. Pnatoja also takes him down in the second round towards the end.

Alexandre Pantoja scores an impressive victory after a close battle with the Australian.
Jose Aldo vs Jonathan Martinez
UFC Legend Jose Aldo will fight trailblazing Jonathan Martinez in the co-main event of UFC 301. The fight will start as a very high-level kickboxing bout. The bout started pretty equal, as both the fighters were piecing each other up in the first round.
Aldo starts the second round by hurting Martinez with some brutal body shots. Martinex goes for a takedown on the Featherweight gold, and Jose Aldo defends the takedown with his clinch. Jose Aldo hurts Martinex with some brutal kickboxing combinations. Aldo again showed off his kickboxing prowess. Martinez cannot deal with Aldo’s strikes while Aldo beats up his body. The Featherweight champion arguably won the second round.

Anthony Smith has the mammoth task of winning against the up-and-coming youngster Vitor Petrino. Smith is a seasoned veteran who has even challenged for the title. The bout starts with both fighters spamming jabs. Petrino is making Anthony Smith’s backup while the veteran is spamming leg kicks. Petrino went for the takedown, and Anthony Smith finished Vitor Petrino in the first round. Anthony Smith makes a massive statement while winning the bout against the Brazilian at the UFC 301.
Michael Pereira vs Ihor Potieria
Michael Pereira showed off his gymnastics moves in the first round of the UFC Octagon. He finished Ihor after choking him out via guillotine choke in the very first round of the bout. Pereira won a rather short fight.
