Charles Oliveira is set to feature on the UFC 300 main card which is headlined by his fellow Brazilian Alex Pereira. Oliveira will be looking to finish his opponent Arman Tsarukyan in the early rounds. He might want to take inspiration from his country man who is known to put his rivals to sleep early on in the fight. Olivera in an interview gave some massive props to Alex before his first title defense against Jamahal Hill.
Charles Oliveira is a veteran in the UFC having fought here for over a decade whereas Alex Pereira made his debut in the year 2021 much later than his lightweight counterpart Charles.

Charles Oliveira has got the record of mist submission wins in the UFC. Lately he also became somewhat of a knockout artist himself having knocked out Michael Chandler to claim the lightweight title in the second round of their fight. He gave his take on what will happen if Jamahal Hill decides to stand and bang with Alex Pereira. He said,
Everyone that comes in to trade with Poatan on the feet will get folded. You have to be careful with that, but I’m sure Poatan will knock out. Jamahal is bluffing for sure. That’s the strategy, to take him down. If he trades on the feet he’s getting knocked out.
Charles Oliveira made it clear that if Hill decides to exchange hands with Alex he will be put to sleep inside of the octagon. Oliveira seems to be a Alex fanatic and is quite sure that the Brazilian knocks him out defending his belt in his very first title defense. Alex Pereira’s kickboxing credentials are something to wary for Jamahal Hill.
Oliveira made it clear that he does not believe that Hill is going to strike and will go for the takedown instead with the Brazilian kickboxer. It will be interesting to see of Hill will cause a massive upset and beat Alex Pereira in the middle of the octagon at UFC 300. The odds are stacked against Hill but the man has defied the odds before and went on to win the UFC title in his previous fight with Glover Teixeira.
