Justin Gaethje’s former opponents ahead of UFC 300
Lightweight contender Justin Gaethje is set to take on Max Holloway in a scheduled BMF bout at the UFC 300 this weekend. Gaethje is known for his absolutely violent style and getting into some really ugly brawls. It will be interesting to see if Gaethje will tweak his game or stick to his old route of maximum damage to his opponents and himself come UFC 300.
Justin Gaethje last fought Dustin Poirier where he won via an absolutely spectacular head kick knockout. Before that he took on the kickboxer Rafael Fiziev and beat him in a three round thriller. Gaethje was able to out strike the kickboxer in a rather impressive manner. He lost to Charles Oliveira in the first round when he choked him out in the very first round of their title fight.
He once again scrapped out a win against the former Bellator champion Michael Chandler. Chandler wasn’t able to do his thing in front of Gaethje. Before Michael he fought the Dagestani Khabib Nurmagomedov and got choked out in the second round. Justin was able to maul up Tony Ferguson and putting him out of his prime after touching him up throughout the course of their five round fight.
The referee has to intervene in their scrap as Tony was barely able to walk or see in the end.
