The UFC fans are in for a treat at the UFC 300 as they are about to witness two of the most electrifying lightweights to cross paths next month. Charles Oliveira and Arman Tsarukyan are set to take on each other in a title eliminator match. Both the fighters are heavily skilled in every aspect of mixed martial arts and its hard to point out the weakness in their game.
Arman Tsarukyan who is the resident of Georgia is the heavy underdog coming into this fight. This is Tsarykyan’s biggest test in his career till now.
Arman Tsarukyan gives props to Charles Oliveira
Arman Tsarukyan is ranked number four in UFC rankings in the Lightweight division and he taking on the number one contender in the Brazilian grappler Charles Oliveira. Oliveira holds the record of most submissions in UFC history and has beaten all the top guys barring the champion himself. In a video uploaded by Red Corner MMA, Arman said,
Oliveira’s in the top five lightweights of all time for sure. He’s beaten all lightweights except Islam. Plus he has the most submissions, if I am not mistaken.
it’s quite evident that Tsarukyan is not taking Oliveira lightly as he considers him to be one of the best lightweights of all time. Oliveira and Arman both of them beat out Beneil Dariush in their last fights via spectacular knockouts. It’s quite clear whoever emerges victorious in their bout will face the lightweight champion Islam Makhachev in their next fight.
Arman will want to seize the biggest opportunity that he has ever gotten and get a chance to become the lightweight champion of the world. He’s on an impressive three-fight winning streak in the company. Since the inception of his UFC career he has racked up eight wins and two losses.

It’ll be interesting to see how the Georgian deals with the pressure put on him by Oliveira. He will definitely want to be careful getting into grappling scrambles given his Jiu Jitsu credentials. Oliveira was scheduled to fight Islam last year to get back his title but had to opt out of the fight as he suffered from a deep cut above the eye.
