Max Holloway is one of the company’s most prominent and absolute fan-favorite stars, and he was spotted talking about fair pay during his latest pre-fight interview.
Max Holloway opens on fair compensation ahead of UFC 300
Max Holloway is set to take on BMF champion Justin Gaethje in the lightweight division of the UFC. This is the first time that the BMF belt has been defended in the company. After getting his hands on the UFC featherweight crown, Holloway will want to get the silver BMF title. Holloway is well aware that his BMF bout is one of the highest trending matchups of the card, and in the press conference, he said,
Everytime I see an ad on UFC for UFC 300, it’s me and Justin. So, at the end of the day, [my manager] Tim, Daniel, someone needs to get on the phone with Dana White, Hunter [Campbell], and we gotta talk numbers about some things. Because it’s looking kinda funny.
Max Holloway made it clear he wanted to get a bit more money for showing up to UFC 300 as his fight against a violent Gaethje is set to be the highlight of the main card and UFC 300. He claimed that his manager should be getting on a phone call with UFC’s upper management, UFC President Dana White, and senior official Hunter Campbell.

Max Holloway last fought Korean Zombie and finished the Asian legend rather impressively. Holloway got paid a massive $970,000 for the main event of the fight night. Given his star power in the company, Max was the highest-paid fighter on the UFC Fight Night card. Given the hype his matchup against Justin generates, Max Holloway will be looking at a much bigger payout.
