Michael Bisping was the first Englishman to win a UFC title. Bisping knows what goes on at the absolute top in the company. Bisping was spotted touching on the topic of Hill challenging Pereira for the light heavyweight title at UFC 300. He said,
Alex only has one way to win. He’s talking about striking. But of course does Jamahal Hill has other ways to win. I am not sure.
Bisping made it clear that he is not sure if Alex and Hill are that different from each other. Hill might be a natural wrestler but Bisping pointed out the fact that he rarely uses his wrestling skill as he relies more on explosive power. Whereas Pereira is a sure shot pure bred striker given his credentials.
Bisping who was known for winning the middleweight title of the world while being blind in a eye is a known fan favorite. Bisping who himself beat out Luke Rockhold for the title. Rockhold was a well-known striker who could put anyone’s lights out in an instant. He emphasized on the fact that Hill might have to beat out Alex in a similar fashion.

Bisping made it clear irrespective of how good a wrestler Hill is he always uses his striking more than his grappling. Hill has got a golden chance again to capture gold at UFC 300. While Pereira might be the favorite coming into the fight it is Hill who will be willing to cause a massive upset. Hill is well aware if how bug of a fan base Alex Pereira is in possession of and will be looking to beat their favorite kickboxer.
