Jiri Prochazka last fought Alex Pereira the previous year, but he lost the title fight to the Brazilian kickboxer when he was knocked out in the second round of the UFC. Jiri hopes to get back in title contention with a win over Aleksander Rakic. Rakic is a much more technical fighter with elite striking and excellent grappling credentials.
Prohachazka will be the favorite going into the fight as he recently fought for the title, but Rakic is a dangerous opponent who can shut anyone’s light off at any given moment. It’ll be interesting to see who comes out on top in the UFC 300 this weekend.
