The fans were clearly expressing their shock at the statistic. They were seen comparing Pereira’s career to Israel Adesanya’s. Many claimed that he is much more entertaining than Izzy and some see him as the the face of the UFC for years to come.

It’ll be interesting to see of he will be successful in first ever light heavyweight title defense in UFC history against the former champion Jamahal Hill. Jamahal is a pure bred wrestler and claimed that he will stand and bang against the Brazilian kickboxing legend Alex Pereira in their bout in the main event of UFC 300.
It’ll be interesting to see what happens at UFC 300 and if it will stand up to the hype generated there.
