The first UFC fight card was held in the year 1993 when the weight divisions did not exist. It’s been more than three decades since the first fight card. The 300th UFC event is set to take place in the month of April. The whole card of UFC 300 is stacked with some of the best matchups and exciting bouts.
President Dana White couldn’t be happier given how well the UFC 300 came about up till now. No fights have been called off yet. The build up to the UFC event a week prior will be a thrilling and a noteworthy affair.
Dana White opens on UFC 300
UFC President Dana White has seen the best and the worst days of the organization in the past few decades. He has build the UFC from ground up and continues to do so. The next pay-per-view event is supposed to be UFC 300. Dana White opened on building the landmark UFC card. He said,
How do we make 300 different that 100, 200 than anything we have ever done. I wanted it to be when the first prelim of this fight starts you can’t miss one fight of this card.
White made it clear that he wanted the card to be special. Even the prelims of this fight are stacked up to an extent none of the viewers would want to miss any of the scraps. Dana wanted to do something massive for this card therefore there two title fights happening with Alex and Jamahal Hill headlining the event.
Zhang Wei Li takes on Xiaonan for women’s strawweight belt. Then we have got Justin Gaethje taking on former champion Max Holloway for the BMF title. We also have the Brazilian trailblazer Charles Oliveira taking on the rising contender Arman Tsarukyan in a title eliminator.

The patience is running thin as the MMA community just wants April 13 to come as soon as it can. Dana White has certainly built a card that will be etched in the memory of the MMA fans for as long the sport survives. White has been a great leader of the organization as he took the sport of mixed martial arts from the trenches to the absolute top.
