In UFC, One of the most anticipated cards in of this year goes down next month. UFC 300 has got some of the best fights that the company has ever put together. The card is set to be an absolute banger as it goes down in Las Vegas next month. One of the main matchups of the card is Max Holloway taking on Justin Gaethje.
Max is jumping up the weight division in order to take on Gaethje for the BMF title. Holloway was previously the champion of the featherweight division.
Max Holloway fires back at his critics before UFC 300
Max Holloway has been going hard in the build up to his fight against Justin Gaethje. This is not the first time that Holloway has fought in the lightweight division in the UFC. In a video uploaded by MMA Talk Holloway said,
That’s why me and you guys are different. That’s why a lot of fighters is cut from a different cloth. So even some fighters is worried about certain weights. If you on the pound-for-pound list you should be willing to fight anybody. That’s what the pound for pound list is for.
Max made it clear to anybody thinking he’s making a mistake that him being on the pound-for-pound list warrants him to fight anyone and everyone. He put down all of his critics who were advising him against fighting Gaethje given the fact that Justin is one of the most dangerous fighters in the company.
Holloway is paying no heed to those critics who don’t think he should be fighting Justin. It’ll be interesting to see how Max matches up to Justin in a sensational lightweight clash at UFC 300. Both the fighters rely heavily on their striking. Max often claims to be the best boxer in the UFC whereas Justin is known for his highlight reel.

UFC star Justin Gaethje is riding high on momentum after he knocked out Dustin Poirier via a head kick. Gaethje became an absolute favorite for this matchup ever since. Whereas Max last knocked out the Korean Zombie via a straight right. It’ll be intriguing to see if Max can emulate what he did in his last fight.
The fact that this matchup is not the main neither the co-main event tells us how spectacular the UFC 300 card is. Many will agree with the statement that this matchup will go down in history books.
