Joe Rogan on Max vs Justin ahead of UFC 300
The MMA world is excited for the bout between Max Holloway and Justin Gaethje and so is UFC commentator Joe Rogan. Max Holloway is jumping up a weight class to take on the BMF champion Justin. Holloway is the heavy underdog in the bout between the two. Discussing the odds of the fight Rogan said,
People are counting Max out. Max has had a lot of time to prepare. Justin’s a 230 favorite. And the thing about Gaethje is Gaethje lands them in the clinch. His flexibility is insane. One of the reasons I think this is because Max is going to go into this fight with a tremendous amount of anticipation.
Rogan made it clear that despite Gaethje being the absolute favorite going into this bout, Max should not be taken lightly. Rogan insisted Max is fully capable of causing a massive upset against Justin. He emphasized on the fact that despite Gaethje landing some power shots in clinch Holloway will be entering the fight with a ton of anticipation and can definitely hurt Justin.
Max Holloway has previously claimed that people should not out limiting beliefs on anyone including him. This was in response to folks around him criticizing him for taking up the fight with Gaethje. Max will definitely love what Joe had to say about his bout against Justin. It’ll be interesting to see what happens with the fight come next week at UFC 300.
