Fighting is arguably the toughest and the most brutal sport to exist. The penultimate goal of any MMA fighter around the world is to become a champion in the UFC. Only a select few are lucky and competent enough to get their hands on UFC gold.
Then there is Brazilian kickboxing phenom Alex Pereira who in his first eleven fights became a two-division champion in the UFC. The fight community is set to witness the kickboxing great once again in UFC 300.
There are not many in the fight community who will underestimate the threat of former glory kickboxing champion. But as it turns out, Alex’s next opponent remains unfazed by his dominating stature.
Former Light Heavyweight champion not afraid ahead of UFC 300
Jamahal Hill is the former UFC light heavyweight champion in the UFC division. He beat Brazilian Jiu Jitsu legend Glover Teixeira in a five-round thriller to claim his first ever UFC title victory. He’s set to take on Alex Pereira in the landmark event for the company in UFC 300 which is set to go down in April. Hill is one of the lucky ones to get a shot at the title multiple times. As it seems the brown belt in Jiu Jitsu seems quite confident before his showdown.
Hill wrote on his social media,
Bruno Silva beat Alex convince me otherwise, also show me one round of him just straight out classing somebody ????

Seems like the 32 year-old is not fearful of the left hook from hell. He’s convinced that his Brazilian opponent was defeated by his former opponent and is doubtful of his martial art skillset. It’ll be interesting to hear what Alex , who is known for his viscous leg kicks and for putting people to sleep early in the fight, has to say.
The matchup between Pereira and Hill is certainly exciting with many wondering how the American is going to approach the fight. Will Jamahal dare to stand up against Alex or will he put his grappling to use. The fight fans should certainly be excited for UFC 300 that is set to go down in sin city, Las Vegas. Will UFC 300 be the best UFC card in the history of the company? Only time will tell.
