The UFC 300, UFC’s landmark event, is finally upon us. The card has some of the best fighters scrapping it out in the middle of the octagon. Let’s follow all the action live.
Alex Pereira vs Jamahal Hill: UFC 300 Main Event
The two men around who this fight card was built. Alex Pereira and Jamahal Hill finally enter the octagon to find out who’s the better fighter between the two at UFC 300. As it turns out there was no question who’s a better fighter. Alex Pereira knocked the hell out of Jamahal Hill with a clean left hook after spamming a ton leg kicks. Doubters need to apologize to the Kickboxing champion. He remains as the light Heavyweight champion of the world after successfully defending his title for the very first time.
Zhang Weili vs Yan Xiaonan
Yan Xiaonan came on aggressive in the first round and even hit her with some decent shots in the first round. The challenger is having a good time in her first title fights. The best shots have been landed by the challenger. Weili took the challenger down in spectacular fashion and is trying to do some damage to Xiaonan. He choked her with a deadly rear naked choke but the bell saved Yan.
The second round is getting dominated by the Zhang Weili as she took Yan down and hit her with some brutal shots on the ground. Yan did got back up and was able to hit the champion with some decent shots to her face.
The challenger started the third round in a strong manner. She hurt Zhang Weili and even scored a knockdown. This round is turning out to be a competitive. The challenger scores a takedown again. Seems like Yan Xiaonan took this round.
After scoring an early knockdown the champion has put Yan on her back after taking her down. Zhang Weili is getting some good shots on the ground. Yan is taking the damage helplessly. The champion showing her grappling pedigree and not letting Yan get up. Zhang Weili showing championship pedigree in the later rounds.
The champion started the final round in style as she took down Yan Xiaonan in a rather impressive manner. Zhang Weili showing why she’s the champion at the strawweight division as she takes down the challenger once more. The challenger is quite helpless in this position. Zhang Weili dominates the final round in spectacular fashion.

Justin Gaethje vs Max Holloway, who’s the baddest MFer?
The BMF bout is set to begin soon. In the first round Justin and Max are taking measured approaches. Gaethje testing Max by hitting him with leg kicks. Holloway did hurt Justin via a viscous left straight. Justin spammed quite a lot of leg kicks but Max seems to have done more damage in the first round.
The commentators assume Max might have broken Justin’s nose. Justin’s broken nose is hindering his ability to go on the offense. Justin did hurt Max with his ruthless leg kicks and damaged Max’s calf. Holloway must have taken the second round too.
It’s a much closer fight in the third round and it was revealed that Max has 54 strikes whereas Justin Gaethje had 23 strikes. Holloway wobbled Justin in the third round via a viscous left hook. Max Holloway’s calf is destroyed but it is not stopping Max from inflicting damage on Justin Gaethje. Holloway seems to be the better fighter going into the championship rounds.
Justin Gaethje seem to be coming alive in the fourth round. Max piecing up Justin’s nose. Seems like Holloway has found his target on Justin’s nose. Max’s speed is helping him get on the offensive quite a lot. Seems like the former featherweight champion will cruise to victory if Gaethje doesn’t land a knockout. Max’s rythm is just unmatched. Max has inflicted much more damage to Justin.
The last round has begun and Max still seem to be doing his thing in the octagon. Gaethje is going all out but Max is way too good for him. Justin is making full use of his leg kicks and hurting Max’s calf. Max hit him with a deadly combination. Justin backed off and wobbled. Max is proving why he’s the best boxer in the company. Gaethje is getting hit by some of the deadly strikes Max is in possesion of. Max Holloway knocked the hell out of Justin Gaethje in the final seconds of the fifth round after hitting him with a flurry of combinations.
Max Holloway is the baddest Motherf*cker in the UFC.
Charles Oliveira vs Arman Tsarukyan
The title eliminator between Charles Oliveira and Arman Tsarukyan is set to begin. Charles Oliveira was able to get Tsarukyan on his back and almost got him out. Tsarukyan put Oliveira on his back instead and is trying to hurt Oliveira. The first round might have ended in Oliveira’s way.
Arman seems to be dominating the second round of their bout. He took Charles down and is beating him. Still finding it difficult to finish Charles despite the heavy ground and pound. The second round ended in Arman’s way.
The third was getting dominated by Arman Tsarukyan and Arman even got some shots in the third round. Oliveira was able to get a chokehold towards the end but Tsarukyan being an absolute beast didn’t tap out. The fight ended after three rounds. Arman Tsarukyan was able to take the win via a split decision.
Bo Nickal vs Cody Brundage
Bo Nickal is set to take on his first big challenge in Cody Brundage. Bo has beaten all of his opponents in the first round so far. Bo got into his traditional game plan of wrestling his opponent right from the beginning. Cody was struggling throughout the course of the first round but held his own by not getting choked or knocked out.
Brundage stuffed a takedown in the early part of the second round but ultimately Bo hit him with a wonderful double leg takedown. Bo took him down and inflicted some major damage to his opponent. In the end Bo Nickal submitted his opponent in a rather easy manner. Bo took home his sixth consecutive win in the company.
Jiri Prochazka vs Aleksandar Rakic
Two gladiators are set to take on each other in the middle of the octagon. Aleksandar Rakic pieced Jiri up in the first round, bruised Jiri’s leg. Although Jiri had some decent shots, it was all Rakic in the first round.
Jiri was getting pieced by Rakic once more in the octagon but got into a wild brawl and hi Aleksandar with a brutal right, which wobbled Rakic. Jiri finished Rakic when the European samurai hit him with a flurry of punches. Jiri Prchazka bounces back in style after losing the title fight to Alex Pereira last year.
Aljamain Sterling vs Calvin Kattar
Aljamain Sterling is set to make his featherweight debut against a decorated opponent Calvin Kattar. The fight started with both the fighters testing the water against each other. Sterling was able to get Kattar with his right hand. Then ultimately, he took down Kattar twice, and Calvin wasn’t able to do much in the octagon. The former Bantamweight champion of the world was able to take him down a total of four times inside the octagon.
As the second round started Sterling is showing his superior grappling technique. Kattar was quite visibly having a difficult time dealing with the grappling of Aljo. He is hesitant on the feet mainly because he fears getting taken down.
The third round is turning out to be the same as Kattar is having a lot of difficulty halting Ajo from showcasing his Jiu-Jitsu skills. Kattar is turning out to be helpless when it comes to countering the grappling of his opponent. Aljamain Sterling wins via an easy unanimous decision at UFC 300.
Kayla Harrison vs Holly Holm
Two-time Olympic gold medalist Kayla Harrison takes on Holly Holm in the middle of the octagon. Holly Holm tried to take Kayla down but found herself on her back. In the very first round, Kayla hit Holly with some heavy shots. Kayla clearly took the round away from Holly.
Harrison used her Judo skills to take down Holly again in the second round and beat her up. Ultimately, she put her in a brutal tight choke and finished her on the mat. Kayla earned a rather impressive victory in the UFC for the first time ever at UFC 300.
Sodiq Yussuf vs Diego Lopes
The fight ended before it even started. Diego Lopes hit Sodiq with a beautiful combination at the beginning of the fight and ended Yussuf via TKO. Diego Lopes continues to rise up the featherweight division rankings.
Jalin Turner vs Renato Moicano
The striker in Jalin Turner hurt Renato Moicano in a rather brutal manner in the first round. But Moicano took him down and held him there for quite some time. As the second round began, Moicano returned to his grappling roots, took Jalin down, and pounded him brutally as the referee ended the contest between the two. Moicano won by an impressive TKO at the landmark event UFC 300.
Former Champion Jessica Andrade taking on Marina Rodriguez at UFC 300
In the first round of the fight, Jessica Andrade took down Marina and did some damage. The commentators made it clear that Jessica won the first round relatively easily.
Marina did some heavy damage in the second round of the fight while maintaining distance from her opponent. Towards the end, Andrade was able to hurt Marina with a powerful strike, but licky for Rodriguez, the round ended.
The third round was pretty equal, but Marina could take advantage of her reach and out-strike Andrade, who was visibly fatigued. It was a pretty nasty bout between the two strawweights in the UFC. It was a pretty close fight as Jessica Andrade took home the split decision victory back to Brazil.
UFC Veteran Jim Miller taking on Bobby Green
Both Miller and Green started the fight quite carefully, but Miller landed a clean right early in the first round. As his technical self, Miller was trying to close the distance while keeping his hands up while Green, being his reckless self, was brawling with the UFC legend.
Miller hurt Bobby Green towards the end of the first round with a clean right and followed up with a couple of combinations. It seemed that Jim Miller took the first round. The second round started pretty equal as both the strikers exchanged impressive strikes. Miller suffered a cut and bled profusely in the second round. Bobby clearly took the second round. It is all to fight for in the third round.
Bobby started the third round with an absolute bang, beating out Jim Miller. Miller wasn’t able to do much on the feet. Bobby Green was a much better boxer, beating up a bloodied Jim Miller and taking home the unanimous decision victory at UFC 300.
Cody Garbrandt vs Deiveson Figueiredo
Cody started off well, touching up Deiveson throughout the round. The Brazilian had a bit of trouble in the first round but was able to take him down towards the end. Deiveson Figueiredo, being his versatile self, could use his grappling to take home down at the beginning of the second round.
He put Cody in several tough positions on the ground, but Cody could escape those grappling scrambles. After almost struggling to deal with his opponent’s Jiu-Jitsu, he tapped into a death grip of Figueiredo when he choked him out in the final minute of the second round, starting the UFC 300 card with an absolute bang.
As it turns out Deiveson Figueiredo is a beast and deserves to be in the Bantamweight division of the UFC.
