The MMA Fans are in for an absolute treat this weekend. As the UFC completed its three decades of existence, it was only fair that the company put together some of the stellar matchups in the organization. UFC 300 will probably be the best card of the entire calendar year. The event, headlined by Alex Pereira and Jamahal Hill, is stacked until the early prelims. No MMA fan would want to miss a single matchup of the UFC 300.
Here are some interesting facts about the landmark event that will take place next month.
10 Current and Former UFC Champions Competing In The Card
It was reported that the card features about ten percent of all the champions ever made in the UFC. Here are some fighters who had the UFC strap wrapped around them at least once in the UFC.
Cody Garbrandt became the Bantamweight champion after beating Dominick Cruz in a rather empathic manner. Deiveson Figueiredo beat out Beanvidez in the first round. Jessica Andrade, who became a champion after slamming Rose Namajunas on the mat, is also on the card. Holly Holms was a fan favorite back in the day. Aljamain Sterling beat out Petr Yan for the Bantamweight belt. Jiri Prohachazka was the Light Heavyweight king for quite some time. For the First time, the BMF Champion will defend his belt
After Jorge Masvidal, Justin Gaethje is the second fighter to win the BMF belt. Given that Jorge never defended the belt, this will be the first time Justin will have to protect his BMF honor against a formidable Max Holloway after winning it from Dustin Poirier.
