Mainly because of the sheer violent entertainment Gaethje fights guarantee. Gaethje is set to take on Max Holloway for the first defense of his BMF title.
Justin Gaethje won the BMF belt against Dustin Poirier when he knocked him out via an impressive head kick in the second round. Gaethje will look forward to carrying forward his winning momentum against Holloway this weekend.

Justin Gaethje has gotten into some of the most violent battles in the UFC 300. Gaethje has won $550,000 worth fight of the night bonuses throughout his UFC career. This is a testament to his MMA style of standing and banging against his cage rival. In the pre-fight press conference, Gaethje said,
I don’t usually plan on being alive a day after my fights.
Justin Gaethje made it clear that he will never overlook an opponent in the future. He is looking forward to his fight against Holloway and exchanging strikes with him at UFC 300. Holloway and Gaethje are both spectacular strikers and are well-known for their penchant for getting into some intense brawls in the middle of the octagons.
Although Gaethje has won the BMF belt, he has yet to win the lightweight title in the UFC. A win over Max Holloway will bring him closer to the UFC gold. Gaethje gave Max his flowers by claiming Holloway would be as strong as him in the fight. He is not taking Holloway lightly, as he knows what he has done to his previous opponents.
