Conor McGregor last fought in the UFC three years back. He lost out to Dustin Poirier when he broke his leg in a freak accident in the first round of their fight. Since then Conor has been on his road to recovery and has taken on several Hollywood projects too.
Conor was one of the coaches of of last season’s Ultimate fighter against Michael Chandler. McGregor has also got one of the highest selling whiskeys in the world. A few years back he was the highest paid athlete in the world.
Conor McGregor describes his life outside the UFC
Conor McGregor recently launched his Hollywood movie Roadhouse with the Oscar nominated Jake Gyllenhaal. It became an absolute fan favorite as Conor was playing a goon in the movie. It’ll be interesting to see if his first project is nominated for any awards. Conor in an interview revealed how his life looks like outside the company. McGregor said,
Training, working. You know. Hoping for opportunity. Hoping for breakthrough. Hoping to stay on a good path. Support my family and I pray every day and be a good provider.
Conor McGregor seems to be enjoying the finer things in life when it comes to his life outside the UFC. He claimed that he is a big-time family man and wants to make sure that no one comes before them. He also opened on his spiritual side claiming that he prays almost every day and is just looking to take care of his loved ones.
Conor is yet to announce his return. Now that his movie promotions came to an end maybe the fans will get an update from the company on what’s going to happen with their star man. It’ll be interesting to see if McGregor is going to take on Michael Chandler or someone else in the lightweight division.

McGregor is the most financially successful athlete in the company and continues to be the biggest name in the company. He featured on all the highest selling pay-per-views of the UFC. His fight with Khabib happens to be the highest viewed UFC fight in the history of MMA. It’ll be interesting to see what happens with Conor in the future.
