He last fought Leon Edwards for the title but couldn’t do much. Covington recently reacted to Ian Garry’s callout after his win in the main card of UFC 303. He said,
He keeps talking about this GOAT stuff. The only GOAT that he has is his wife, and she’s the throat goat if you know what I mean.
The three-time title challenger made a nasty remark about Garry’s wife, Layla Machado. Colby’s statement will surely not go down well with the undefeated Irishman. He will surely want revenge inside the Octagon and return home with a win. Both are versatile fighters. Therefore, it will be intriguing to witness a bout between the two.
