The UFC has completed more than three decades since its inception. It is often considered the best and the toughest league in the world of mixed martial arts. There have been a ton of MMA legends who have etched their names in the UFC Hall of fame. Then there are some who stand out from the crowd. UFC President Dana White gave an interview where he was seen giving his take on who the greatest of all time is.
UFC President Dana White has dealt and seen a lot of UFC legends in the past. But there is one guy who has left no doubt in Dana’s mind that he is the best amongst all.

There have been a lot of conversation on who the greatest mixed martial artist of time is. The fans around the world have got different takes on who should hold the crown in MMA. But Dana White is convinced that there is a guy who is better than the rest. White in an interview given to Lex Fridman made the following statement. He said,
It’s absolutely positively Jon Jones. He has never been beat in the octagon.
He added,
The other thing that you have to factor in to is longevity. Sometimes a lot of these guys the sport passes them by. You get younger guys that are faster. This, that and the sport evolves. Nobody’s been able to beat Jon Jones.

Dana White made it clear that the two-division champion has never got beat in his career which spans more than a decade. Not many fighters can boast not losing in their MMA career. Jon last fought Ciryl Gane and won in a rather dominant fashion after submitting him in the first round of their bout.
Dana White did mention that Jon has got himself into trouble on various occasions which did affect his UFC career in a rather negative manner. Apart from all the controversies and only focusing on his fights in the octagon Dana is convinced that Jon takes the title of the greatest of all time in the UFC.
It’ll be interesting to see who does Jon Jones fight for his very first heavyweight title defense. He was supposed to take on Stipe Miocic last year but pulled out due to an injury. The fans will hoping to see the GOAT in action later this year.
