Sean Strickland does not want anymore new entrants into the UFC middleweight division it seems. While he will be fighting for the title against Dricus Du Plessis, ‘Tarzan’ seems well aware of his surroundings too. After getting over Leon Edwards in an emphatic fashion, Belal Muhammad took over the welterweight crown. However, it seems that Muhammad is not content with only one title.
Looking to become a double weight-class champion, he has expressed his wishes to move up to middleweight. And this is something that did not sit well with ‘Tarzan.’ Interacting with ‘The Schmo’ recently, Strickland stated, “Belal, do me a favour, shut the f*** up. Go get on a boat, go back to f***ing Palestine, go pick up a rock and go do something.”

Well, such comments from Strickland are not new. He has a track record of being involved in some serious controversies previously. After all, who can forget his public brawl with Dricus Du Plessis in the stands? Meanwhile, ahead of his all-important fight, Strickland has a unique proposal for the UFC middleweight champion.
Sean Strickland Asks Dricus Du Plessis To Agree On A Stand Up Fight
It is well-known that Dricus Du Plessis’ fighting style is deemed as ‘unconventional’ by many. However, it cannot be denied that the champion’s ground game and submission attempts are pretty much on point. And this is where Sean Strickland is trying to make a pact. He urged Du Plessis to fight a war that the fans will never forget.
“Listen [Dricus], I’m going to need you to be a f***ing man and stand up… I know you like to wrestle and you like to choke people out and do some gay sh*t,” said Strickland.
