Sean Strickland has always been known for his unfiltered personality in the UFC. The former middleweight champion recently stirred up controversy with some eyebrow-raising comments online. He declared he would continue poking fun at fellow fighters Jon Jones and Bryce Mitchell.
Strickland’s outspoken nature has entertained and irked fans over the years. He often walks a fine line between humor and offensiveness, and this time, he may have crossed it for many.
“You guys I am not a racist… 100 percent racism is wrong… We are all equals…… BUT!!!!!!!!! I’ll make fun of Jon Jones buying drugs. And ill make fun of Bryce Mitchel fuc*ing his cousin…. THE LEFT WILL NOT TAKE THIS FROM US….” wrote Strickland via X.
Strickland then joked about Jon Jones “buying drugs” and Bryce Mitchell’s supposed familial relations. Meanwhile, Jon Jones and Bryce Mitchell have yet to respond to Strickland’s jabs. They’re likely used to Strickland’s antics by now and may choose to ignore them.
This isn’t Sean Strickland’s first rodeo regarding controversial statements. He seems to revel in pushing buttons and getting reactions. Some fans argue Strickland is just being himself and speaking his mind. Others feel he’s deliberately stirring the pot for attention. The truth probably lies somewhere in between.
Sean Strickland Fires Back At MGK For Lecturing Him
Strickland struck again, and this time, his target was none other than musician Machine Gun Kelly. The unlikely feud between a fighter and a rapper has taken an interesting turn. MGK recently responded on the “Impaulsive” podcast. He called Strickland “insanely racist and homophobic” and wished he’d never shaken his hand.

True to form, Strickland couldn’t resist firing back. He took to social media with a post that was… well, very Sean Strickland. He mocked MGK for his weird practices and painted quite a vampiric image.
“Getting lectured by a guy who drinks blood and wears a purse.. Dawg you had a mid life crisis and tattooed your entire body. The “the x community of intolerance” yall I’d hang out with you toxic trolls any day over this cunt… Go back to cutting yourself you fucking weirdo,” wrote Strickland via X.
The fighter’s words were harsh but delivered with his trademark bluntness. This isn’t Sean Strickland’s first rodeo regarding celebrity feuds. He’s previously clashed with MGK’s partner, Megan Fox, over comments about her children. Interestingly, he apologized to Fox but showed no signs of backing down with MGK.
