UFC 310 is just hours away, and the event has already delivered plenty of twists and turns, adding to the excitement. Fans have witnessed several changes to the card due to fighter injuries. Now, the spotlight is on weight misses, with Bryan Battle failing to make weight, raising concerns from his opponent. Randy Brown has criticized Battle for missing weight, accusing him of seeking an unfair advantage on fight night at UFC 310.
Brown didn’t hold back after Battle missed weight ahead of their UFC 310 clash. Set to face off at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Brown hit the scales at 171 pounds, while Battle came in at 175, four pounds over the welterweight limit. This marked the biggest fight of Battle’s career, but Brown believes the weight miss was intentional. Speaking after the weigh-in, Brown said:
“Brian knew he wasn’t gonna make the weight from the day before but still let me suffer through a weight cut. These guys bite the bullet on percentage then come in overweight on purpose. So they can get a weight advantage on fight night. I’ll be no more than 185 tmrw. I would bet he’ll be well over 200 tmrw.”
No updates have been provided regarding penalties for Bryan Battle’s weight miss ahead of this welterweight fight. Fans were anticipating some form of action against Battle, but the organization has yet to address it. Meanwhile, all other fighters on the UFC 310 card successfully made weight.
