The UFC 302 is set to take place in June. The card is built around Lightweight champion Islam Makhachev taking on Dustin Poirier in the main event. Apart from the main event, the undercard has some of the company’s most spectacular matchups, including Brazilian superstar Paulo Costa taking on the former champion Sean Strickland. It seems like the mood before the UFC 302 is pretty relaxed, as Paulo Costa and his fellow UFC 302 fighter were spotted getting involved in a banter battle on social media.
Costa last fought Robert Whittaker and lost a close decision to the Australian in the cage. Costa wants to win against Strickland and move closer to contending for the middleweight strap.
Paulo Costa gives out a reaction to Ailin Perez’s antics ahead of UFC 302
Ailin Perez is one of the up-and-coming stars in the women’s Bantamweight division of the UFC. She’s on an impressive two-fight win streak in the company and is set to face Joselyne Edwards to move closer to the Bantamweight title in the company. Perez recently posted a picture on her social media handle, and it garnered some funny reactions even from Middleweight great Paulo Costa. Perez captioned the image,
There goes the one you LIKE disguise woman 🤣
To which Paulo Costa was quick to react the following,

Ailin was spotted posing with Micaias Ureña in a rather weird pose. The duo posed while having their lower backs pouted out towards the camera. Seeing the UFC stars in light moods before they had to step into the cage and take care of business on June 2nd in the octagon was rather heartening. It even drew a funny response from the former Middleweight title contender, Brazilian Paulo Costa.
Paulo Costa is set to take on the former champion Sean Strickland in the cage. Strickland is a natural striker, and Costa will want to neutralize Sean as soon as he can, given his impressive cardio ability of Strickland in the octagon. Sean Strickland was the world’s Middleweight champion after he beat out Israel Adesanya in Australia, someone to whom Costa lost out in the cage. Paulo Costa is known for his spectacular strikes in the cage and inflicts some heavy damage on his opponents.
