Paige VanZant is often called the female Brock Lesnar—not for her looks, but for her diverse combat sports career. From MMA and boxing to pro wrestling and Power Slap, she’s proven her versatility. VanZant’s journey mirrors Lesnar’s in breaking barriers across multiple disciplines. And now, after a five-year hiatus, the former UFC star is set to make her return to the sport where she first rose to fame, joining a new fighting promotion.
Talking to ‘A Kicka** Love Story’, the 30-year-old fighter is making a comeback to MMA with a fresh start under Global Fight League. It’s been five years since her last cage appearance at UFC 251, where she faced Amanda Ribas in 2020. Since then, she’s explored various ventures, from creating OnlyFans content to pro wrestling and competing in multiple combat sports promotions. While many believed her MMA career was over, her announcement has taken fans by surprise.
In her words, “New MMA organization. They are picking up anybody and everybody who has a name in this sport who is a free agent. They offered me a contract, and I said yes. Going back to MMA. I think this is the perfect opportunity because I didn’t necessarily leave MMA. I definitely didn’t leave MMA because I wasn’t passionate about it anymore.”
During her time away from MMA, she stayed active, sharpening her wrestling and boxing skills while competing in various combat sports. Now, the big question is whether she can make a triumphant return after her last loss five years ago. All eyes are on her to see if she can bounce back and secure a win.
Paige VanZant Left Dillon Danis Speechless
VanZant has always been a standout, not just for her fighting skills but also for her beauty, often making it to the top of the most stunning lists in MMA. Recently, though, Dillon Danis couldn’t help but comment on her appearance, noting how much her face has transformed since her UFC days.
Dillon Danis recently took to X, posting a side-by-side comparison of Paige VanZant. One image showed her looking a lot different than her UFC days. The transformation was so noticeable that Danis seemed taken aback, tagging VanZant in the post and highlighting just how much she’s changed.

With so many high-impact sports on her resume, it’s easy to see how this could have contributed to the noticeable changes in her appearance over time. The physical toll from all these tough competitions might have played a role in her transformation. However, she is once again ready to come back and fight inside the cage.
