At the first-ever Dirty Boxing Championship (DBC) event, following Claudia Zamora’s victory over Monica Medina, history was made with the two women being the first on the card. When Paige VanZant was asked about the historic moment, the former UFC star shared her thoughts. She called it impressive, noting that she always knew the women would come in and put on an aggressive, high-energy show, paving the way for even more women to step into the spotlight in combat sports.
Subsequently, VanZant was asked if Mike Perry’s promotion could be her next home, given her experience in multiple combat sports. She enthusiastically replied that she would love to be on the card and even mentioned that there would be talks with Perry about featuring her in future events.
She said, “No question, I’m sitting over there. And I’m kinda a little disappointed that I’m not on the first-ever show. I think there will be some conversation with my manager and Mike Perry. Yeah, throw me on, put me in here.”
Her excitement about potentially joining the Dirty Boxing Championship only adds to the buzz surrounding the promotion and her ongoing journey through various combat sports.
