Paige VanZant did not have a good Saturday night on ‘Fight Island.’
After the flyweight star was quickly submitted at UFC 251 in the first round by Ribas, fans knew her time was up fighting in the UFC after nabbing her 4th loss in 6 fights. Her return came after she said she would shop for a better contract after completing her current contract with the UFC.
Taking to Instagram, VanZant congratulated Ribas on an “amazing performance,” also shedding light on her next step.
“Congrats to Amanda on such an amazing performance. It was truly an honor to share the octagon with you,” VanZant posted. “As for me, I will rise up as I always do. I can’t wait to see where God takes me next.”
Shortly after her loss, fans only had one thing on their mind, as that was to urge VanZant to open an Only Fans account as they thought her fighting career was probably over.
