Brittney Palmer was back in her familiar role at UFC 249, but unlike normal events where thousands of fans would around, there was nobody cheering and watching the action from the thousands of seats.
Not only that, she was the only ring girl working the event due to the social distancing guidelines.
Because there were no fans, Palmer didn’t make her usual rounding of the ring.
Palmer’s night’s work didn’t go without controversy as some observers took issue with the mask-less Palmer blowing kisses into the camera on the broadcast between rounds. They thought it was unnecessary and inappropriate given the circumstances.
