UFC President Dana White was talking to the media personnel recently, and for obvious reasons, he was quizzed about what would happen with Conor McGregor in the near future. Dana White hinted earlier on his social media that Conor might return to fighting, inching closer to the UFC Gold. But recently, Dana, in front of the press, had something else to say,
I can sit here and tell you we do not have a deal done.
Dana White clarified that he does not have the deal done for McGregor’s return to the octagon. The reporter asked him if the UFC would surprise the fans during the main event of UFC 300, but White rejected all those rumors. He stated that the company does not have a deal for their megastar.

Conor has clarified that he wants to return against former Bellator champion Michael Chandler in the upcoming months. The fans were elated at the rumors that the company would announce the Conor fight during UFC 300 fight week. Conor earlier revealed that he wishes to take on Michael Chandler in June.
It will be interesting to see what happens in the near future with Conor McGregor as he prepares for his return to the middle of the octagon. Will he fight Michael Chandler or take on someone else entirely? It remains to be seen.
