Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal will fight in a professional boxing match on Saturday, June 1. The combat sports superstars hope to bring the fight to a bloody end. “Last Man Standing,” hosted by Fanmio PPV from the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, features a headline match between Diaz and Masvidal.
With their exciting fighting styles and bold personalities, Diaz and Masvidal, already MMA legends, will square off in a boxing ring for the first time as two genuine MMA stars.
With over 10 million pay-per-view purchases combined across their careers, these two fighters have been involved in three of the UFC’s top ten highest-selling pay-per-view events.
Nate Diaz Reveals 7-Figure Pay He Will Receive Against Jorge Masvidal
Nate Diaz has recently stated, ahead of his clash with Jorge Mavidal, that he would agree to fight any opponent for money during an interview with MMAFightingWithSBN;
“I had five fights in the UFC after the Ultimate Fighter that were against top 10 ranked opponents. Then I demanded the top 10 guys, and I’ve been fighting them for 25-30 fights in the UFC. Now, whatever I’m doing, I’m finding the best fighter I can fight. I’m not going to play-fight. I can fight anybody for $10 million, and probably get $10 million”.
Per Daniel Cormier, Jorge Masvidal earned $2 million against Nate Diaz in their previous matchup. In this boxing rematch, Jorge will surely earn more purses than the amount he last earned.
