The UFC is finally ready to present UFC 303, a considerable pay-per-view event, later this month. Conor McGregor, the former two-division champion of the UFC, was initially scheduled to make his way back into the octagon following an almost three-and-a-half-year hiatus. Michael Chandler was expected to face Conor McGregor in the main event of UFC 303.
Unfortunately, McGregor’s injury during his training session for the rematch at UFC 303 forced the cancellation of the contest between him and Michael Chandler.
The main event of UFC 303 will feature a rematch between Alex Pereira and Jiri Prochazka for the light heavyweight title with 17 days’ notice.
DraftKings made the fight’s odds public, with Pereira starting as a slight -170 favorite over Prochazka, the +142 underdog.
What Is Next For Alex Pereira After UFC 303?
Alex Pereira is putting everything on the line in UFC 303 for the UFC fans, and a win would make a major statement in addition to what he has already achieved.
Other fighters weighing 205 pounds are in the vicinity. Magomed Ankalaev, who has consistently demonstrated his merit for a shot at the title, is one of the contenders. However, he has not won the title thus far, drawing with Jan Blachowicz in his lone title match in late 2022.
