One bizarre question caught Dana White off guard during the post-fight press conference for fight night in St. Louis this past Saturday. MMA reporters can be an odd bunch.
The atmosphere at the Enterprise Center was genuinely unique, and the fights were electrifying. Dana White claimed that the combatants delivered some crazy moments, making it seem like he was in the audience of a pay-per-view event.
With a gate valued over two million dollars, the biggest of any fight night before, the fight night also broke a business record. Dana White is even itching to “phase out” the UFC Apex and continue the UFC’s global tour more regularly.
Understanding Dana White’s Confidential Details
At the press conference following the bout, Dana White was responding to questions when a reporter with an odd fantasy caught him off guard.
“I’ve got one little challenge for Cowboy (Cerrone),” the female reporter said. “If you notice this BMF brand at the top of my hat, I got that custom branding iron, and I said if he did his ride, I was going to let him brand me, but now I just want to let him do it; what do you think about that?”
This question confused White, who laughed a little awkwardly. “Did you say brand you?” White asked. “You and Cowboy were meant for each other. There’s no way in hell that I would make that happen; you’re crazy.”
White was contacted and requested to arrange a meeting between the reporter and Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone, whom Conor McGregor famously knocked out in January 2020.

Social media users rapidly shared footage of the bizarre conversation. Her fans were left wondering how she obtained access to the media. Ariel Helwani also reacted to this on his social media platform X,
It’s no secret that Dana White and Ariel Heleani don’t get along anymore. While they have a long-running feud, Saudi Arabia’s Turki Alalsikh seeks to broker peace.
Shortly before the UFC 199 event began, Helwani made headlines when he revealed Brock Lesnar’s UFC comeback against Mark Hunt at UFC 200. The promotion led to a big fan revelation, which was unavoidably spoiled when word leaked about Helwani’s claim.
He was barred from all future UFC events and had himself removed from the arena. Even though the restriction was only in place for two days until it was removed, Helwani and White’s relationship appeared irreparably ruined.
During a recent interview on The MMA Hour, Alalshikh stated that he would like to attempt to mend the friendship between White and Helwani.
