Last night in London, Michael ‘Venom’ Page marked a successful comeback at Polaris 30. The skilled striker had previously faced defeat at UFC 303, where Ian Machado Garry overpowered him on the ground. While awaiting his next octagon appearance, Page chose to compete in a Polaris Grappling event in his hometown. He faced former interim welterweight champion Carlos Condit in this bout.
Page and Condit clashed for ten minutes, each searching for a submission opportunity. The two rolled on the ground, with Condit eventually gaining the top position before they locked into a 50-50 guard. Back on their feet, the action continued as Page attempted a takedown that sent Condit tumbling into the lighting setup, causing a brief pause with only seconds remaining in the match.
When time ran out, the judges awarded Page the victory by decision. Despite Condit’s strong background with 13 submission wins in his career, Page managed to take him the full distance, ultimately securing a points victory.

Michael ‘Venom’ Page Considers Middleweight Switch To Take On UFC’s Emerging Star
Since his unanimous decision loss to Ian Machado Garry at UFC 303, Page has kept active, recently winning his first pro grappling match against Carlos Condit. Now, the UFC welterweight contender is open to moving up to 185 lbs, targeting an exciting 2025 with major fights on the horizon. On The Ariel Helwani Show, he called out rising middleweight star Shara ‘Bullet’ Magomedov, saying:
“The hairs on the back of my neck went up when I heard Shara ‘Bullet’ call out my boy Izzy. He’s working on regaining that throne, let me jump in! I’m happy to do it. You’re talking about being the best striker, he says in his division, but right now I’m grappling in your division. So why not?”
