The world is currently gripped by the controversy surrounding a boxing sensation testing positive for using performance-enhancing drugs in the matchup against Devin Haney. He recently stunned the world with his victory over Haney and received praise from both professionals and fans alike.
However, the tide has turned against him due to this new controversy, with Conor McGregor recently sharing his thoughts on the matter and also taking shots at Sean O’Malley. Meanwhile, his next opponent, Michael Chandler, appears displeased by how ‘The Notorious’ reacted to the situation.
Michael Chandler Taunts Conor McGregor Over Rant on Ryan Garcia
Recently, Conor McGregor posted on X (now deleted), accusing Garcia of weight cheating and being juiced. He demanded a lifetime ban, and not only that, but he also threatened that if ‘KingRy’ came near him, he’d burst him up. Clearly, like many on the internet, he was furious with Garcia.
In response, Chandler advised McGregor to consult his PR team and calm down before making any further posts regarding 125lbs fighters, i.e., O’Malley and Garcia. For those who may not be aware, while Garcia tested positive for ostarine in 2018, O’Malley was also banned for six months by USADA.
Talking about Ostarine, it is a substance that athletes use to build muscle, burn fat, and improve endurance by binding to specific proteins in the body and stimulating muscle growth. Consequently, McGregor was frustrated for cheating ahead of the matchup. So he expressed his anger. But it seems it didn’t sit well with Chandler.
While the Irishman hasn’t replied to Chandler yet, given his nature and past posts, he might soon take a shot at his opponent ahead of the UFC 303 fight. Fans are eagerly awaiting to see what will unfold in their bout and how McGregor will make his return. Until then now, fans will look forward to what will happen to Garcia and how his future will be.
