According to reports, Conor McGregor has purchased the same Dublin bar where he infamously was caught assaulting a customer back in 2019. “The Notorious” reportedly spent $2.7 million USD to acquire it.
While promoting his Proper No. Twelve Irish whiskey brand, McGregor offered a round of shots to the men around the bar. Des Keough refused the offer and McGregor flew into a rage as he assaulted him.
Following news of his purchase of the pub, McGregor took to Twitter and banned the guy from ever coming back inside.
Keough was aksed about being banned and he really did not care.
Speaking to the Irish Mirror, he said: “I’m not really concerned because I probably wouldn’t be going back to it now.
“I wouldn’t be going back anyway, probably especially now. I wouldn’t want to be spending money in his pub to be honest.
“I didn’t really make much of it. It’s no skin off my nose really. I’ve a lot of friends there. I probably drank there for about 14 years.
“The fact that he was in the wrong you know why blame me? It seems weird to me. It’s disingenuous.”

“The past is in the past. It’s all done and dusted two years ago this month,” he said. “He had to go to court and he pleaded guilty.”
