Los Angeles County has recently been hit by a near-apocalyptic event. For the last few days, the Palisades wildfire has ravaged the county in unmentionable ways. With the fire becoming uncontainable, acres after acres of land have been burned to ashes. Amidst this situation, a number of big league games have been canceled. For example, the LA Clippers vs. Charlotte Hornets game at the Intuit Dome has been postponed.
However, despite the unforeseen setback, there is good news for the UFC. With UFC 311 scheduled for January 18, 2025, at the Intuit Dome, concerns about the same were rising rapidly. Thankfully, in a recently released statement, Intuit Dome has confirmed that the UFC 311 is on track as of now.
“Next week’s events will continue as scheduled at Intuit Dome, with the Clippers hosting the Miami Heat on Monday, January 13, and the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday, January 15. We will welcome UFC 311 on Saturday, January 18,” read the statement on Intuit Dome’s official X account.

Moreover, there were more updates coming in from the venue. In a bid to extend their support to the ones affected by the fire, the Intuit Dome will be hosting a Benefit Concert.

With the fire wreaking havoc on Los Angeles County, the exact reason for the outbreak is still unknown. However, as per the experts, strong winds coming from Santa Ana played a major role in escalating the fire rapidly along the coast. With at least 10 people dead, and nearly 30,000 forced to evacuate their homes, the losses are expected to be in billions.
Taking a stand for the ones affected, Intuit Dome announced about organizing a Benefit Concert on January 30, 2025. The update read, “FireAid, a Benefit Concert for Wildfire Victims is set for January 30th at Intuit Dome.”
