For weeks now, the combat sports world has been buzzing with rumors about a massive exhibition fight between Conor McGregor and Logan Paul, reportedly set to take place in India. Fans have been hyped to see the $250 million blockbuster event. The former UFC champion has been relentlessly promoting the potential matchup, fueling speculation and raising expectations for what could be one of the most talked-about events in combat sports history. However, after weeks of silence, WWE star Logan Paul has finally addressed the rumors, and his comments have taken fans by surprise shutting it down.
Logan Paul made his return during WWE Raw’s Netflix debut, appearing live at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles to loud boos from fans. Subsequently, he announced he’s now fully committed to wrestling, leaving other ventures behind, and declared this the start of his journey as a full-time WWE Superstar, aiming to dominate the wrestling world.
He said, “I don’t ‘respect the process’. I’ve never ‘fallen in line’ or ‘waited my turn’, but you know what must really keep you up at night? I’ve been so good at this. And now? I’m dedicating my life to this, no more side hustle, no more bulls***. 100 per cent WWE Superstar. This is the beginning of the era of Logan Paul.”

Unfortunately for McGregor and those who were eagerly waiting for the showdown, Paul’s statement has seemingly poured cold water on the fight rumors. The disappointing revelation not only shuts down speculation about the fight but also puts an end to what could have been a historic event, leaving fans to wonder if the dream matchup will ever see the light of day.
Brendan Schaub Doubts Conor McGregor Getting $250 Million Against Logan Paul
Brendan Schaub recently debunked claims that McGregor could earn $250 million for a fight with Logan Paul. He compared it to payouts for top boxers like Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk, noting McGregor’s earnings would surpass their combined pay. Schaub argued no UFC fighter, even at the top, has made that much in a single night.
He said, “It will never, ever happen. So even if none of this darkness was going on, let’s say he was 30-0, triple champ, quadruple champ, even if he was that, he still wouldn’t make $250 million [in the UFC].”

Adding to that, Schaub said McGregor teaming up with a YouTuber while dodging drama shouldn’t earn him more than boxing’s biggest names. He threw shade at the idea, adding that no UFC fighter, no matter how iconic, has ever bagged that kind of cash in one night. And now even Paul has rejected the idea.
