Former UFC fighter Nate Diaz made his presence known while in attendance at a recent boxing event in New Orleans, but he garnered even more attention while out on the streets. Diaz was in New Orleans because his teammate Chris Avila was competing at the event. Avila easily won a unanimous decision victory over Paul Bamba.
Ahead of his return to combat sports competition, the Stockton star decided to get back to his old MMA days when he was recorded locking an individual in a chokehold. The move came despite the man appearing to be attempting to de-escalate the situation.
After a few seconds, the man was rendered unconscious and falls back and hits his head on the concrete.
The Stockton star has become somewhat known for the bottle launch, having thrown similar projectiles at both Conor McGregor and Khamzat Chimaev during his days in the UFC.
Many people couldn’t help but to notice that the guy looked strikingly similar to Logan Paul.
That guy has since broken his silence, revealing what he said to Diaz before being attacked.

He shared the clip of himself being choked unconscious on Instagram, accompanied by the caption: “Got Attacked By Nate Diaz. WTF I was like bro chill. He was like I Someone Say Kill??”
The man was also present when Diaz caused a melee when he tossed a water bottle in the direction of Chase DeMoor during Avila’s fight at Misfits Boxing 6, which incited a ringside scuffle.
Diaz, who departed from UFC last year, is set to get a taste of the crossover craze later this year when he throws down with YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul.
