There are a ton of predictions and gossip, but we all know that boxing has shocked us before. Ryan’s manager, Oscar De La Hoya, recently clarified what happened when Haney and Garcia came to blows.

Oscar De La Hoya opens on Haney-Garcia altercation
Oscar De La Hoya is one of the most decorated boxers in the history. After calling an end to his career inside the boxing ring, in a quest to stay connected to his beloved sport, De La Hoya does the hat of a manager to some of the young striking stars. He represents Ryan Garcia and recently gave his take on what transpired between Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney. He said,
I never seen that from Devin. I think he’s a little rattled. So Ryan’s doing something that only he knows he’s doing and he’s getting under Devin’s skin.
De Lo Hoya clarified that he’s not anyone’s guardian, and these things always happen. He clarified that he had never seen Devin Haney riled up and angry at his opponent before his bouts and that Haney might have been frustrated by Ryan’s antics but is unsure what they are. Oscar doesn’t want to do anything with their pre-fight shenanigans, as he is sure everything will fall into place when the dust settles inside the boxing ring.
