Pimblett gave his take on the same in an interview given recently.

Paddy Pimblett is one of the significant English stars in the company. He is on an impressive five-fight win streak. He last fought UFC veteran Tony Ferguson and won a remarkable fight after outstriking him throughout the three-round fight. Paddy was called out at the UFC 300 by another Lightweight veteran in the UFC, Bobby Green. Paddy Pimblet had something interesting to say about the same. Pimblett said,
Bobby Green screamed my name on the mic after it. Didn’t surprise me, know what I mean? He might be ranked. But he’s got no followers and he needs me.
Paddy Pimblett clarified that Bobby Green calls him out because he needs recognition in the MMA world. Paddy Pimblet, mainly because of his jovial personality on the mic and entertaining fighting style, has a heavy fan base in the MMA world. Bobby Green is the ranked fighter of the two, whereas Pimblet has yet to enter the rankings in the UFC.
Paddy Pimblett last fought in 2023 to enter the UFC rankings. Bobby Green has been the company’s more active fighter. He recently scrapped against Jim Miller and emerged victorious after three rounds. Bobby Green is a natural striker with a very unconventional method of getting into scraps. Green and Pimblett will have an exciting fight if they ever agree to scrap.
