The USA is a dreamland for many, including MMA fighters. Every MMA fighter in the world wants to be in the UFC. Many fighters are coming from the Far East to the States. The USA is a sought-after country for many reasons, including its freedom of speech. Lightweight Ace Arman Tsarukyan, who might win the title later this year, is not a fan of one of the laws in America.
Arman Tsarukyan was one of the fighters on the main card of the UFC 300. He won his bout against Charles Oliveira in a rather impressive fashion.
Arman Tsarukyan opens on one thing he hates about the USA
It seems Arman Tsarukyan carries his violent demeanor outside of the octagon, too. Tsarukyan is an absolute beast in the UFC, and in a recently held interview, he revealed the one thing he likes in Russia that is not available in the USA. He said,
I had a conversation with one guy and he said ‘fu*k you’. What should I do? Beat him up. I can’t do that here. In Russia things are different.
Arman was asked what the one thing he does not like about the USA is. He replied that he is not a fan of the freedom of speech that people in the USA have. He gave an example of a guy using an expletive on him, but Arman couldn’t hit him back for the disrespect. This is mainly due to the strict rules in the USA against violence. Things are a bit different in Russia, and people can express themselves with their fists and kicks.
Arman Tsarukyan is an absolute monster inside the cage and can take on anyone in the octagon. As good as he is, he will face Islam Makhachev in the octagon for the title later this year. Makhachev is on a totally different level from this guy. Arman loves his Russian roots for a rather peculiar reason: their leniency against violence shown by its citizens. Violence is synonymous to a Russian MMA fighter. Vladimir Putin might be proud of Arman’s response. It’ll be interesting to see what happens in the future with Arman Tsarukyan.
